Purpose of register
Ordering from the KX Store / Kova Industries online store does not require registration. KX Store / Kova Industries will only collect the necessary personal information from the customer to complete the order.
Customer registration is not currently available or in use (data policy below).
However, in connection with the order or otherwise, the customer may, if they wish, register as a KX Store / Kova Industries customer, in which case the customer agrees to the inclusion of their personal data in the KX Store / Kova Industries customer register.
The personal data to be stored is used:
- Customer identification and access control
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships
- To implement the service
- For marketing
- For analysis and statistics
Basis for data collection and processing
Customer data is collected and processed with the customer’s consent, or to enforce a contract with the customer.
Information content of the register
Company and / or customer name, Business ID (corporate customers), E-mail address, Date of birth, Telephone number, (possibly Username and Password).
KX Store / Kova Industries does not collect or store customers’ bank contact information or credit card information.
Data retention period
Personal information is retained for as long as it is needed to develop and maintain a customer relationship or develop customer service.

Information is collected in the register:
- From the person himself/herself
- Data is also collected using the Google Analytics analytics tool.

Customer register information will not be disclosed outside of KX Store / Kova Industries, except as required by law and to the Company’s subcontractors involved in arranging direct marketing, maintaining information systems, or handling a customer’s order, such as mailing or paying for products. The right of inspection is free of charge up to once a year.
The data subject has the right to request the correction or deletion of incorrect or outdated data or the transfer of data from one system to another. He also has the right to restrict or object to the processing of his data in accordance with Articles 18 and 21 of the EU Data Protection Regulation.
The data subject has the right to withdraw his or her prior consent to the processing of data or to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority concerning matters relating to the processing of his or her personal data.

Klarna Checkout
When you place an order in the KX Store with Klarna Checkout as the chosen payment method, information about the products in the order (name, price, quantity, SKU) is sent to Klarna. When the purchase is finalized Klarna sends your billing and shipping address back to the us at KX Store. This data plus an unique identifier for the purchase is then stored as billing and shipping data in the order in WooCommerce.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
